Elon Musk reveals who he thinks is actually running the Democratic Party

Tech billionaire Elon Musk revealed that he believes certain unions are the primary drivers of the policies of the Democratic Party and the Biden administration.

“The general public is not aware of the extent to which unions control the Democratic Party. There is no need to speculate on this point,” Musk said in an interview published over the weekend.

Two of Musk’s businesses, Tesla and SpaceX, are not unionized, which Musk says is due to the “negative employment” in Silicon Valley. He says that Tesla workers usually have many job offers.

“Last year, Biden held an EV summit where Tesla was explicitly not allowed to come, but [United Auto Workers] our. So Tesla has made two-thirds of all electric vehicles in the United States, “said Musk, who is estimated to be worth more than $ 250 billion.

United Auto Workers (UAW), with more than 390,000 active members, is one of the largest unions in the United States and has long been a major player in the Democratic Party’s policy since its inception nearly 100 years ago.

“So, deliberately excluding us from an EV summit in the White House – but including the UAW – tells you everything you need to know,” Musk said in the interview. “They have so much power over the White House that they can exclude Tesla from an EV summit – crazy.”

Musk said that during the recent summit, Biden praised General Motors and its president, Mary Barra, for leading the “EV revolution”, despite the fact that GM only supplied 26 electric vehicles in the same quarter. Tesla is by far the largest manufacturer of electric vehicles in the United States.

“There’s some madness on the next level,” he said of the incident.

In early June, Biden also brushed off Musk’s comments about a possible recession, saying that other car companies have recently invested in electric vehicles.

“Well, let me tell you, while Elon Musk is talking about it, Ford is increasing their investment overwhelmingly,” Biden said during an event in response to Musk’s Twitter post about the economy that may hit a recession in the coming months.

“I think Ford is increasing investment in building new electric vehicles, 6,000 new employees – union workers, I might add – in the Midwest,” said Biden, noting that “the former Chrysler company, Stellantis, they are also making similar investments in electric vehicle. “

Musk has often criticized the UAW in recent months, taking a stand against the union in late March after a former union official pleaded guilty to paying more than $ 2 million from the organization.

“UAW slogan – ‘Fighting for the right to embezzle money from car workers!'” He wrote.

It came days after UAW President Ray Curry said his union has not had any discussions with Tesla or Musk since Musk invited the UAW to hold a Tesla union vote.

“It would be a good faith effort if they were interested in having that kind of exchange,” Curry said at the time.
