I will never see it
It’s been a long time since I finished Elden Ring that I no longer remember many of the controls, which is a good place for me to be – that means I will be able to see the game again with relatively fresh eyes sooner rather than later. After running marathons, I’m excited to play again at a slower pace, and a recent discovery shared on Reddit has hyped me even more.
For those of you who have not finished Elden Ring Still, let’s just say that a certain important area of late play can be discovered from the very beginning. It is one of those things that is easily overlooked even if you know what you are looking for and have the whole context.
There is so much to take in the first step – it’s your first real chance to admire the scope of Elden Ring – and it is easy to immediately set off in a given direction without treating the view completely. From the first moment, the glorious Erdtreet landscape dominates, Stormveil Castle also stands out, and the wandering Tree Sentinel shouts your name. But it is another remarkable sight to cling to if you look closely.
I had to jump into a new storage and see it for myself – well, it was always there.
** Spoilers below **
So, as it turns out, Forge of the Giants is visible from the beginning Elden Ring.
This finding (which was recently shared by Reddit user icreievryteim) has appeared online before, and without anyone else noticing, I would never have caught it on my own. Never. It is a small but still effective detail that makes me appreciate Elden Ring even more.
400+ hours in the game, and I realized that we can see Forge of the Giants at the very beginning from Eldenring
This is the beauty of a thoroughly open world.
Although the genre has become inflated and often too familiar, in the right hands, it can still inspire some unforgettable moments. And speaking of amazing backgrounds, if you played Elden Ring but never experienced Dark Souls IIIyou have to go back.
It’s crazy to think of everything I went through to get from First Step all the way up to Forge of the Giants. Did anyone else run excitedly to their deaths? Huff.
When I commit to going completely through Elden Ring Again, I have to go much slower and enjoy it, I know so much. It will be difficult in a power-up must-go-fast New Game + mode, so rolling a pitiful new character seems like the ideal way to go for the freshest experience.
Now that the dust has settled and society has gone to great lengths to find every bit of intrigue, I’m sure I’ll notice lots of things I missed the first time.
We are halfway through 2022, and it will be tough to top this game.
