PAX East 2022 includes Newegg Gaming PCs and Giant Robot Costume

INDUSTRIBYEN, California – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Newegg (NASDAQ: NEGG), a leading global e-commerce technology retailer, today announced details of its exhibition plans for PAX East 2022, the premier video game convention. Newegg’s PAX East presence will include an 8-foot, 8-inch fully lit robot suit with a person inside who will walk around the exhibition hall during the event, 21-24. April, at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston.

Through her partnership, Newegg will exhibit at the Intel® booth, # 18007. The Intel® stand at PAX East 2022 is expected to be one of the largest in the exhibition hall.

At Newegg’s “Order Corner”, participants can purchase PAX East-exclusive offers on ABS (Advanced Battlestations) gaming systems and bundles, all with Intel® Core ™ processors inside.

On display at the booth will be top-notch ABS gaming PCs and laptops powered by the 12th generation Intel® Core ™ processor family.

The Newegg presence at PAX East also includes:

  • Core bot: Core Bot is a person in a robot costume inspired by a game computer that has come to life. The costume weighs 110 pounds; has over 1000 LED lights; and is the most sophisticated robotic costume made by Extreme Costumes LLC. Owned by Newegg, the robot suit has both Newegg and Intel logos on the chassis and took 3000 hours to build. The massive mechanical presence with the costume maker inside will be available for photos and videos throughout the four event days.
  • ABS Desktops and Top Brand Laptops with Intel: Four ABS PC systems will feature cutting-edge technology while having 12th generation Intel Core processors inside. In addition, 16 advanced gaming laptops will also be powered by 12th generation Intel® Core ™ H series processors. A high-end $ 5000 Newegg gaming PC built by ENIAC, Newegg’s PC Building Department, will be displayed in a glass case and only available through a lottery. Hydrator, a working Intel-powered PC built by ENIAC, will also only be shown and not delivered. The hydrator mixes and rather drinks.
